Landpoint is constantly seeking technology and growth-oriented firms to partner with across the country. In 2013, Landpoint acquired King Surveyors, a Colorado based surveying company, and West Company of Midland, a West Texas based surveying and civil engineering firm. In 2015 Landpoint acquired Town and Country Surveyors of The Woodlands, TX.
Each firm carries a prestigious reputation with regional customers and will continue to operate under their existing entity names. Together the companies consist of over 225 professionals spread across the nation.
A history of Surveying & Engineering
Founded in 1984 by James Souter, the company has become a national leader in the industry. Landpoint’s oldest predecessor, Eby Engineering, was established in 1921 – a local powerhouse in the oil and gas industry that provided engineering and land survey services. In 1984, Landpoint was formed and management developed a growth strategy focused on forming a multidisciplinary professional services firm.
Today, Landpoint is a leader in the industry with a large client base and an always expanding operations area. We have more than 225 employees in a network of offices throughout the United States. Landpoint’s headquarters are currently located in Fort Worth, Texas.
